Oddict Twig Pro Wireless earbuds ($100)
The thing I’ve loved about earbuds lately, is that they are packed with a ton of features. Good optimization and design has continued to be at the forefront. I’ve been testing out various earbuds and this is a very feature packed flagship earbud from Oddict. The design is relatively unique. They come in a very well-constructed aluminum case. The aluminum is also used in the earbuds themselves.
The earbuds have a soft-touch finish around the area that touches the ear canal that transitions over to the silicon ear tips. You get this gun-metal look with the aluminum finish that feels really high quality. Honestly, this is one of the comfiest earbuds that I’ve tested so far. They’re also well molded, which helps a lot with noise cancelling.
They feature 12mm double layer drivers and duo carbon TP film. The sound quality is actually really good. It is nicely optimized and even at high volume it was still nice and clear. In addition, their App is uniquely design but still offers a ton of optimization features. Instead of the traditional EQ dials, you get a very simple interface that allows almost anyone to be able to customize according to their liking. They also have Qualcomm’s APTX adaptive audio codec, which delivers high-res quality music up to 24bit and 96 KHz. For noise cancellation, they feature 4 mics that contribute to the hybrid ANC.
Even more, they also have automatic ear-detection so they will play and pause the music as you take them in and out of your ears. Overall, the sound quality and noise cancellation are good and as I said before, comfort is one of their best features. They normally retail for $149 nut you can catch them on sale at $100. Ring Stick-Up Security Camera ($99.99)
To have a really effective smart home setup, one of the most important things is an Eco-system. Ring is a company that is very well known for their home camera systems. Ranging from Camera doorbells, to their indoor and outdoor cameras. This is the Ring Stick-Up camera. If you’re in that Eco-system and want to add to your accessories, here’s a $99.99 camera that you’ll really love. It is able to live both indoors and outdoors and it has multiple mounting options based on where you want it.
The camera records at 1080p resolution. Most importantly, it has all the software features and seamless integration with other Ring products that you might have. For example, you can talk to people through the camera thanks to a built-in mic and speakers, it’s able to track people, save archives and so much more. Generally, it’s very small, minimalistic and very efficient. At just $99.99, I think it’s a really practical accessory to add to your smart home system. View On Amazon.
Razer BlackShark V2 ($99.99)
Turn yourself into a Pro with this triple threat gaming headset. It combines amazing audio, superior mic clarity, and supreme sound isolation, giving you a huge competitive advantage over your rivals.
It features the Razer™ Triforce Titanium 50MM drivers for richer trebles, brighter sound, and powerful bass. In addition, it has titanium-coated diaphragms giving added clarity to any vocals you hear so that any comms you receive are always crisp and clear. View on Razer.com.
Console and mobile Gaming
And now, to tune up your console and mobile gaming experience.
Backbone Controller (Mobile Gaming)
With smartphones being so powerful nowadays, you can play some really serious/heavy games on your mobile phone. Whether its Minecraft, PubG, Call of Duty, Racing Games and many more. The graphics have become so good, so why not improve that experience by getting a game controller? Our favorite choice today is by Backbone. We’ve tried out some mobile phone game controllers out there, but just from general consensus, it seems like this is the best overall choice. It can be used with any iPhone from iPhone 6 to iPhone 13 and android. It comes with a built-in lighting cable and it’s really easy to fix your phone in.
The sides of your phone will be well protected thanks to a silicon lining where the phone cramps on to the controller. In addition, it’s very light, ergonomic, and really well built. All the buttons and joy sticks give a nice level of feedback without much resistance. The only thing we don’t like, is that it is kind of a fingerprint magnet and I wish the finish was a bit more premium. Other than that, I think it is a nice addition to all mobile gamers out there. PS5 Console Covers ($54.99)
The PlayStation 5 has been around for over a year now. If you’re looking to match your console to the overall aesthetic of your setup, the new console covers are a great addition. Sony launched their official console covers in a variety of colors based on the Nebula Galaxy theme. It’s super easy to swap out the covers, and bam!!! A new looking console. My favorite is the Matte black one but you can go for any color you like. Check out the different colors on the Official Sony Website.
Fitness and Health
Wave Solo Massage Roller ($79)
One of my favorite fitness gadgets is the Wave Solo Massage Ball. This is a massage ball that I carry with me almost everywhere. I take it to work and use it on my desk, to the Gym to relax my muscles before a workout. It’s also really great for when I’m traveling. I think it’s better than the Wave Duo in terms of portability. It has a battery life of 3.3 hours and it has a nice small form factor that’s perfect for getting into tight spaces to relax your muscles.
You can control the Wave Solo using the Therabody App via Bluetooth and follow along the different routines, based on your focus for the workout. Therabody designed the Wave Solo in a way that it mutes and absorbs the vibrations it gives off, once it makes contact with a hard surface. This cool tech gadget under $100 is perfect for recovering and warming up your muscles, and you can take it with you almost anywhere you go. View on Therabody.
Joy Resolve Charging Pad ($62.00)
If you’re looking for a wireless charger that has the looks, the performance and a minimalist look, you’re going to love this one. The Joy Resolve charging pad is a minimalistic wireless charger with a walnut/oak finish, that is just 2mm thick. What I love most is how simple it looks, just a small light at the front and a USB-C port at the back. You simply place your phone on top and it starts charging at a speed of 10W. It also comes with a nice 1Meter matching braided cable. If you’re looking for a premium. Minimalist wireless charger, this one is worth your consideration. View on joyresolve.com.
Wowstick 69-in-1 Mini-Electric Screw Driver (54.99)
Next, we have the Wowstick Screwdriver. Basically, it is a 69-in-1 motorized, ultra-portable screwdriver. It has a very simple looking design with just the screwdriver and a stand. It has a forward and reverse gear. You also get LED lights at the front to help you see even when using in the dark. Lastly, it has an impressive battery life of up to 11hrs of continued use. It’s just a really nice accessory to have around you. I feel like for the amount of functionality it provides, the price point is very reasonable. View on Amazon.
